A graduate of Georgia Tech University and Georgia State University Law School, Freaney was a practicing attorney in Atlanta since his graduation in 1998, including nine years with Frederick J. Hanna & Associates in Marietta.
He is survived by his daughter, Sophia C. Freaney of Marietta; his parents, Vinny and Margie Freaney of Cape Coral, Fla., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 4 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill in Marietta with another service in Cape Coral on July 18.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
