I dearly loved Jim. As one of my youngest brother’s best friends, we were fortunate to see a lot of him. Funny, always smiling. Just a joy. He did a lot of good. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Dr. Pack was my former employer and I don't think I'll ever meet another man quite like him. He was kind, patient and always had a smile on. He taught me so much while I worked with him, I wish I had the chance to say how much it affected and stayed with me. He'll always be remembered for his compassion and heart, and I know he is missed dearly.

I just learned today of the passing of my favorite eye doctor, Dr. Pack, during the course of my eye exam. He had been my eye docor for the last 20 some odd years seeing me through middle school and all the way to graudating from UGA and landing my career job. He always was as professional as can be and had the best stories to share which always made me go out the door with a good laugh. I will truly miss him as he was a great soul...

I am just now hearing about Dr. Pack's passing and am so saddened to hear the news. Dr. Pack has been our family's eye dtr for over 20 years and we all enjoyed our annual visits to see him. He was always so kind and easy to talk to. He always kept up with our family and asked how everyone was doing. I always enjoyed our conversations about travel, restaurants, etc. He took the time to get to know you, and never rushed through an appt, he was the best! Sending our sympathies to his partner, family, and friends, he will be greatly missed by many including us.

Dr. Pack has been a mentor to me for the past 4 years. He was a very kind and gentle being that always went the distance when I needed help! He entrusted me to take over his practice when he retired and I will continue to do the great work he strived for! Rest well friend, you will be missed!

Jim was such a lovely man and always a bright spot in our day whenever we saw him! We had the grand luck to meet him years ago when Nancy needed a new eye doctor! We were delighted with him and his humor, kindness and sharp witted intelligence from the start! It is with a very sad heart we say goodbye to him and we send all our love and good wishes to Jim's partner, family and friends!
