

Mary Jane Watts Gentry, age 85, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted homemaker and cherished matriarch, Mary Jane lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength.
Born on May 4, 1940, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Burton Watts and Mary Lou Cole Watts. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Wayne Gentry (2015) with whom she shared many years of marriage, partnership, and unwavering devotion.
Mary Jane dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Kenneth Burton Gentry and Toby Craig Gentry and his wife, Kimberly; sisters: Karen Walker and Judy Newcomer, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Cody (Emily), Jacob (Nadia) Luke (Kylie) and Jackson, and a devoted great-grandmother to Ethan and Everett. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love will continue to live on through each of them.
Mary Jane will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast love, and the countless sacrifices she made for those she held dear. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her, and she leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories.
Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her and that her love will remain in their hearts always.
The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, February 17, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 18th. Burial will follow the service, Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta. GA.
