Janet Henderson Greene, age 73, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on July 13, 2022. Daughter of the late John Henderson and Catherine Gibson Henderson, Janet was born on May 28, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Janet was a fan of Georgia Tech and often enjoyed attending football games with her family. Janet was competitive in nature and loved to compete in ALTA tennis matches.
On March 21, 1971, she married the love of her life, Michael Greene and they spent the next fifty-one years together before her passing.
Janet loved making memories and spending quality time with her family and friends. Often, she would be on the deck outside with her husband, Mike, watching the hummingbirds throughout her flower garden.
Janet is survived by her loving husband, Michael Greene and daughter, Amy Wicker.
A Celebration of Life to honor Mrs. Janet Greene will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00pm at the East Cobb United Methodist Church, 2325 Roswell Rd, Marietta, Georgia with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
