A Beautiful Soul
A beautiful soul is never truly gone,
For the love they gave continues on.
In every memory, every smile,
Their presence remains with us all the while.
They walked this earth with a gentle heart,
Leaving love and kindness in every part.
Their hands brought comfort, their words brought peace,
And in their presence, hearts found release.
Though we grieve the loss of one so dear,
We hold their love forever near.
For the Lord has promised, “Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
And we trust in the promise that death is not the end,
But a journey home where earthly sorrows mend.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
— Revelation 21:4
So let us remember, not only with tears,
But with gratitude for all the beautiful years.
For a wonderful soul leaves a lasting light—
A light that love cannot extinguish,
A light that continues to shine
Long after they have taken their final flight.
