Jean Ruth Holcomb

Jean was born in 1933 to John D. and Juanita Bull in Wilson, Oklahoma. Following her graduation from Wilson High School, she went to work as a Bookkeeper in Ardmore, Oklahoma where she met the love of her life, Stanley Lynne Holcomb. They spent the first three years of their marriage in College Station, Texas where Stan earned his B.A. degree and Jean was awarded a P.H.T. for Putting Hubby Through.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, John D. and Juanita Bull; her siblings, John D. Bull, Joyce Crosby, James Bull and Shirley Chappel; her son, Stanley Mark Holcomb; and her grandson, John Lynwood Maddox.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean Maddox (Lynwood); her granddaughter, Rachel Catherine Maddox; and her favorite Cousin, Gaye Campbell Goss.

The family will receive guests between the hours of 9:00AM and 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Mount Paran North Church located at 1700 Allgood Road NE, Marietta, GA 30062, with the Funeral Service to follow thereafter at 10:00AM at the same location. She will be laid to rest immediately after the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
