Joan Dolores Kinzler

Joan Dolores (Gatto) Kinzler, 88, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on January 12, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 25, 1928 to parents Marguerite Amanda and Salvatore Joseph Gatto. Joan graduated from Saint Agnes Academy and received a Medical Librarian degree from Methodist Hospital. Joan had a career in merchandising for American Greeting Cards. She was a member of Golden Kiwanis, Rosary Society, and St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She had a passion for her family, and delighted especially in her grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Martin James Kinzler; and her brother Salvatore Joseph Gatto, Jr. She is survived by her children, Karlene (Jim) Kinzler Krouse, Kevin (Lisa) Kinzler, and Kendra Kinzler Emigh; grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Alex, Austin, and Amanda Krouse, Caroline, Charlotte, and Catherine Kinzler, Spencer, Taylor and Amelia Emigh; great-grandchildren, Brady and Keira Krouse; and brother, Robert Frances Gatto. A funeral mass will be held at the Catholic Church of Saint Ann, Marietta, Georgia, on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00PM.
