Mr. John Alexander Hicks, 49, of Roswell, GA passed away December 8, 2013. He was born in Atlanta, GA on April 25, 1964. After John graduated from Wheeler High School, he attended Georgia Southern University. He was an avid gun collector and loved photography. John competed and won many events, including Captain Crush, beating hundreds of other men. He was a devoted son and very loving husband. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Hicks. He leaves behind his wife, Meiry Hicks, mother, Irene Hicks, sisters, Alexandra Collins (Darel), Elizabeth Wilson (David) and Rebecca Stellmach (Jim) and 6 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 1:00-4:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill, Marietta, GA.
