Johnnie Lee Gladden Johnson, age 81, died on Monday, July 17, 2017 at WellStar Cobb Hospital in Austell Ga. Join us in Celebrating the life of our wonderful Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister and Aunt. She is survived by her son's, Jeffrey Brooks of Charlotte NC and Russell Johnson of Austell GA. Daughters Julie Morris and Phil of Powder Springs GA, Sandy Wooten of FL, Diana Miller and Nathan of Hiram GA, Patricia Holliday and James of Jacksonville AL. Son and Daughter by Heart, Perry and Susan Abernathy of Mooresville NC. Grandchildren, Katie Morris Cranton and Peter of CA, Justin Wooten and Crystal Wooten, Nathan Ray Miller Jr and Jennifer Flowers of IN, Wes Miller and Vanessa of GA, Jacob Holliday and Ashlee of AL, Amber Porter and Jerry of AL, Megan Holliday of AL and Jeanne Abernathy of NC. Great Grandchildren Jordan Flowers, Logan Miller, Jonathan Scott Miller, Kendalyn Redwine, Kaison Porter, Zoey and Avery Holliday, and Lauryn Holliday. Loving Sister Martha Putnam and Jerry of NC. Nieces Terry Gibson of NC and Kimberly Putnam of NC. Other Sisters, Jean Johnston and Brenda Gladden of NC. Several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Perry G. Johnson, Parents John and Elva Gladden of Charlotte NC, Sister Nancy Gladden of Charlotte NC, Brother Robert H Gladden of Charlotte NC and Grandson Jonathan Miller of Smyrna GA. A very special appreciation to Nancy Hawkins Rainey for all the love and support you have given to Mom and to all of us these past two plus years. Thanks to Donald for all the wonderful stories. Our family will receive friends from 10:00 until 12:00 o’clock, Thursday, July 20th, 2017, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. At the noon hour, there will be a celebration of her life, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Following the service, burial will follow on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park.
