In 1959 Joey’s father started a family business which was passed down to Joey in 2013, when Joey’s father retired. Under Joey’s leadership, the company expanded rapidly from serving just the Atlanta area to also servicing the Nashville and Birmingham areas. Joey was a very smart business man, earning a bachelors in Business which assisted him in growing the family business.
Joey was so vibrant, always smiling and always ensuring he dressed to impress. Joey’s favorite quote was “I love my wife, I love my life”. Joey’s passions were more than just his company. Joey was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on his favorite teams, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves. Joey’s favorite way to relax was to attend the Masters each year, showing his love for golf.
Joey enjoyed the finer things in life. He loved traveling, fine dining as well as trying new fine foods. Even though he enjoyed the finer things in life, he always loved to have an ice cold Coca-Cola, but only in a glass bottle, plastic or can would just not do for him. Joey was a family man, enjoying every spare minute with his family.
