Good memories of Joey. His accent was great and was a head turner, lol...I cut his hair at several barber shops back in 2004 - for years.  
I wondered what happened and accidentally lost his number from the changing of iPhones and not being tech savvy.  I couldn’t remember the spelling of his last name but did figure it out not long ago. Saw his picture with the trophy of his pool tournaments. Happy man that made me and the other barbers smile at our shop.            RIP Joey!

Joey was a unique and unforgettable character.  He was also a loyal and caring friend.  Joey's first love was for his family, but he cared a great deal for his "pool family" and other friends as well.

Garrey, Brian and all of the Petero Family   We are so sorry for you loss of Joe Aka POPS.  He was a character and he will be missed by many. Our love and prayers are with all of you  now  and always.  RIP  Pops !

I worked with Joey for a few years and my husband and I stayed friends for a long time.  He just called me for Mother's Day. He told us how much better he was feeling after his surgery. He was a sweet man who would do anything for you. He will be missed.  May you rest in peace.  God Bless you.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

To say Joe was special is an understatement.  I've never had a friend as loyal, loving, caring and yes funny than Joe.  He never let any occasion go by without calling and sending his good wishes.  I will miss those calls and our chats.  It always made my day.  I'm sure he' doing the same on the other side.  I'll miss him.  I live in California now, so the years and distance kept us physically apart, but not spiritually.

Joey you loved pool but you sure loved your grandkids even more--I'm glad you were the kind of guy that made sure they always knew it.  The Marietta pool community will not be the same without you.
