Judy Eubank

Judy Wenkstern Eubank, age 67, of Marietta, GA, passed away October 13, 2011 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, William Brent Wenkstern. Judy is survived by her husband, Cary Eubank; daughter, Taylor Eubank; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kristy Eubank; granddaughters, Sarah and Jordan Eubank; mother, Dorothy “Dot” Wenkstern; sister, Doreen Wenkstern Whalley; brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Crystal Wenkstern; nieces, Kristen Whalley Payne, Devon Whalley, Lisa Myers; nephew, Larry Wenkstern, and a host of many friends. Judy grew up in West Palm Beach, FL. She attended Western Carolina University from 1964-1968 and began her teaching career in Charlotte in 1969. She married Cary Eubank, whom she was married to for 42 years. She later retired from the Cobb County School System in 2007 after 38 years of being involved in the schools. A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held Sunday, October 16th at 1 pm in the chapel of H.M.Patterson & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy Eubank’s memory to Eastside Elementary School’s library fund.
