I worked with Julie for 12 years at Scottish Rite. She always had a smile for everyone. Even on the worst days when we were dealing with a trauma and a full to capacity load, she kept on smiling. When I heard of Julie being in hospice the very first thing to enter my mind was her beautiful face with the radiant smile. I could even hear her voice. We didn't get to visit much in the past 7 years but I treasure each time I did get to see her. Rest in peace, Julie.

Julie my gentle and beautiful cousin. News of your passing came as a.shock. You were a big sister to me especially as I was the oldest female in my family. I remember my visits to Labone and our chats when you were in Ghana for holidays. You will be missed always. Kisses to Uncle Willie, Auntie Agnes and my Mum and Dad in heaven. Till we meet again rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord. XXX

A poem for Julie..
When Tomorrow Starts without Julie .
When tomorrow starts without JULIE , please try to understand. That an angel came and called her name and took her by the hand. The angel said that her place was ready in heaven far above, and that she had to leave behind all those she dearly love. But when she walked through heavens gates, she felt so much at home, for God looked and smiled at her and told her "Welcome Home" .
So when tomorrow starts without JULIE , don't think we're far apart , for every time you think of Julie, she's right there in our heart . ..copied from anonymous ..

I have worked with Julie for 20 years . Goodbye my friend, my coworker and my big sister. You will be missed !

I worked with Julie for many years as our hospital changed names. First it was Scottish Rite Hospital, then Scottish Rite Children's Medical Center, then finally Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She was always a sweet, kind and gentle person who worked very hard and was quietly fun to be with. I retired from CHOA in 2006 and didn't see her much after that, only occasionally when I would stop by to see my co-worker friends. I was so sad to hear of her passing; may she rest in eternal peace.
