Ken graduated from Archbishop Riordon High School and earned his Bachelor's degree in Science and Sports Management from St. Mary's College.
He was recently employed at Johns Creek High School after previously retiring from the California school district where he worked at Oceana (Pacifica), Roosevelt (Fresno), and Terra Nova (Pacifica) High Schools over a 30+ year period.
His love for teaching and coaching, had impact on the four generations of students he engaged with. His time spent coaching was equal to his dedication of teaching, shown throughout his forty years of football and thirty-eight years of wrestling.
Ken had a love of Native American studies and spending time at pow-wows developing spiritual connections. Music was an important part of his life and had tunes surrounding him at all times. He enjoyed attending concerts, dancing, and evidently found Kenny Chesney as his preferred artist.
Ken filled every moment he could with vacations and relaxing with his dear wife, Monique, in tropical paradise, many cruises, and had future explorations planned. As relationships and time permitted, he enjoyed taking moments with those close to him and experiencing fishing and hunting excursions. Ken was one of a kind and will definitely be missed by all. He will live on through our memories and be truly loved forever by his immediate family, friends, and extended family. He is survived by his wife, Monique and sons, Josh and Donny.
A Celebration of Life service, where we can share memories encompassing laughter and tears will be held at Newtown Park 3150 Old Alabama Rd Johns Creek on Friday, April 12, 2024 beginning at 4:15 p.m.; with another gathering on June 29, 2024 in San Pedro Park, Pacifica, CA.
