To the Sigler family: my name is Arash Nasibi, and I'm the former co-founder and CEO of Hazel Analytics, a food safety technology startup. I had the pleasure of working with Larry when he championed to bring Hazel technology into Waffle House back in 2022. I'm writing to express my condolences and share a few words about my experience with Larry. 

Larry was like few other customers that I've worked with; he was immensely committed to his work, whole simultaneously being an incredibly kind and compassionate person. And this was a sentiment shared by all of us at Hazel who interacted with him. Doing "business" with him was part business and part personal. I recall having a meeting with him just a few days before my wedding in 2022, and he offered me some sage marriage advice that I still keep with me today. He also often talked about how proud of his daughter he was, and how excited he was to go on a hiking trip with her (relatively recently I believe).  

I'll always remember Larry fondly, and he will be sorely missed. May his loving memories ease your loss and bring you comfort.

Larry and I worked together at Waffle House for 11 years. He was a serious worker and at the same time a joy to work with. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Larry was always a strong presence in the indistry.  I started my career over 35 yrs ago as a FSQA professional and he was always there.  

Every confernce, every industry meeting even NCCR AW work group.  I learned from him at every interaction.   

He was a strong, faithful leader who's love for God was always on display.  His nuggets of guidance he shared at every interaction were always treasured and appreciated.   

He had mentioned at one of our NRF FSTF meeting that he was soon to retire, I laughed and said honestly can you retire?  You are gping to.miss us!?! What are we going to do without your leadership?  It was nice to hear that he was going to step and just enjoy life with his family.

Imagne my suprise when i saw him again at a conference.   We shared a meal and I said hey.ypu.arent supposed to be here.  He said yeah but I promise this is the last time you will see me.  THIS is my last conference I AM retiring. 

He meant it, and I didn't see him again
  I was thrilled for him.  He had said he had some health issues and he was finally getting on the other side and he was looking forward to slowing down.

I pray his short retirement allowed his kids and grandkids to enjoy him fully.

He was a wonderful man with the best sense of morals and love you just don't see enough these days.

He was already missed when he retired but his presence, his essence, his love of God will be missed here on earth through all of us that have called him friend and colleague over the years.  I hope you all can feel the impact he had in my life and in our entire indistry!!!

He is home with God now and I cant wait to see him again!!
