Larry Neil Wood, 61, of Marietta, passed away on March 21, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, GA to parents, Florence and Charles Wood on July 22, 1954. Larry graduated from Pebble Brook High School. He was a hard working husband and father. He retired from GA Power after 40 years working in the line department, and after retirement he continued to work for Crete Carriers. Larry is survived by: wife, of 37 years, Janice Martin Wood; daughter, Brandy (Torry) Wood Campbell, and their children, Dillon Miller and Cassidy Campbell; daughter, Kristin (Gabe) Wood Howerton, and their children, Ava and Adalyn Howerton; mother, Florence Wood; sister in law, Nancy wood; and niece, Mandy Wood. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wood, and brother, Gary Wood. Visitation will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel from 11:00AM – 1:00PM Friday, March 25, 2016. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1:00PM.
