Linda Baker Allen

Linda graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and a minor in music. She valued education and carried her love of learning, music, and caring for others throughout her life.

Above all, Linda cherished her family and treasured the time they spent together. She found great joy in being surrounded by those she loved, whether gathering around the table for a home-cooked meal or entertaining guests in her home. Her love of cooking and hospitality made others feel welcome, and she had a special gift for bringing people together. Linda’s faith was also an important part of her life. She enjoyed attending church and participating in Bible studies, where she found fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual strength.

Linda’s greatest happiness came from the love she shared with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her warmth, generosity, and devotion to her family created lasting memories that will be treasured for generations. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her welcoming spirit, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, James Baker and her daughter, Jennifer Allen.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Allen; her children, Felicia (Wes) Allen Silliman and Michael Allen; her grandchildren, Isabella Silliman, Garrett Silliman, Nicollette Allen, and Cole Silliman; and her brother, John Baker. She also leaves behind extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply and hold her memory close to their hearts.

Linda’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and family. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live through the lives she touched, the traditions she created, and the many cherished memories she leaves behind.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00am at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia.
