

Mrs. Lois A. Schepman, 92, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Lois was born November 23, 1920 in Elmore, OH, but grew up in Toledo. She graduated from Scott High school in 1938, where she excelled in her studies and was inducted into the National Honor Society. After high school she began work as a bookkeeper. Soon after, she met Robert Schepman her husband of 60 years. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schepman, baby daughter Schepman, daughter Janice Gosdin, and brothers Kenneth, Glen, Donald, Paul, and David Arndt. She is survived by daughters Linda Walker (Kenny) and Kathy Schepman (Michael Zingman), son-in-law Garey Gosdin, brother Richard Arndt, grandchildren Jason and Adam Gosdin, Neil Walker, and three great grandchildren Syndey, Morgan, and Cole. Lois was very involved in church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and was the president of the Women of the Church. She was a compassionate and loving wife and mother and a wonderful baker. The family will be celebrating her life at 2 o’clock on Saturday, August 3rd at Sunrise Assisted Living East Cobb, 1151 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, GA, 30062. The internment will be held August 5 at 11:00am at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to North Metro Miracle League, Inc. 2145 Jep Wheeler Rd, Woodstock, GA, 30188. H.M.
