Lola Patricia Ann Wright was born on June 25, 1951 to Annie Ruth Butler and Charles W. Wright, at Los Angeles Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Lola went to San Jose High School and graduated class of 1969.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior where she was a member of Higher Dimensions Family Church under the leadership of Bishop Carlton Pearson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lola began to do outreach ministry in Houston, Texas where she was called by the voice of the Lord to continue evangelizing in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2009 Lola relocated to Georgia where she enjoyed the southern hospitality of the city. Lola was a people person, to whom ever she met she'd preferred for them to call her Pat which was shortened from her middle name Patricia. Pat worked at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, CA where she retired in 1993. Lola was hospitalized for many years and made her transition on Monday, October 17, 2022 during the AM hours.
She leaves to cherish her memory a host of family, adopted brother, Asie Dungy; adopted father, Thomas Jenkins; nephew, James Jones, Jr.; special friend, Willa Burnett, and many others.
