Louis (Lou) Monroe Smith age 67 of Marietta passed away Saturday May 5, 2013. Mr. Smith was born in Atlanta and graduated from Grady High School and attended The University Of Georgia. He was a Air Force veteran and served in Veit Nam. He was retired from Delta Airlines and had brief employment with Airtran and Cobb County school transportation department. Memorial services will be held on Monday May 6th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill with Rabbi Judith Beiner officiating. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Angi Smith. 2 daughters Megan and Nicole Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Nettie Israils Smith. H.M. Patterson and Son-Canton Hill in charge of arrangements.

My thoughts are with you Angie, Nicole and Megan, from all the family we are truly saddened to hear this news. So many happy memorys I can remember with Lou, Angie and the girls, especially Lou trying to stop Nicole and Megan as babies running up the stairs xx

Angie & girls,
Jay & I were deeply saddened to learn of Lou's death. We have many fond memories of him & his zest for life. His girls meant so much to all were a joy to him. He will be missed.

Dear Angi, I truly was blessed to have Lou as a friend during my years at Pilot Ground Training. He will truly be missed.
