Louise Roam Hoffman

Mrs. Louise Roam Hoffman passed away on June 20, 2011. Mrs. Hoffman was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William and Elsie Mae Roam. Mrs. Hoffman resided in Atlanta since 1980 and in Marietta since her retirement in 2006. Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Joe Hoffman, Jr. She was the much loved mother of her children, daughters Jo Lynn Greenwood (Alan) of Cleburne, Texas and Bobbie Davenport (Ben) of Marietta, Georgia and sons Kenneth Hoffman (Melody) of Mitchell, South Dakota, Ted Hoffman (Connie) of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Mark Hoffman (Karin) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lisa, Elisabeth, Jason, Wendell, Julianne, Kristel, Matthew, Michelle, Adam, Caitlin and Joe, great-grandchildren Cali, Mackenzy, Kocen, Kelly and Ashlyn and her lifelong friend of 85 years Peggy Basnett. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. A reception will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Louise’s name to the American Heart Association or the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Caring Ministry. Arrangements under the direction of H.M.
