Margaret Euphrates Gravitt was born March 24, 1925, to George and Janie Whitley of Acworth, Cherokee County, Georgia. She was mother to Joan Gravitt Crisp, Linda Gravitt McKinney and Ricky Gravitt. She worked for more than 20 years at the Boyce Manufacturing in Acworth. Margaret eventually moved to Marietta, Georgia where she lived for most of her adult life until the last few years. She went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-Law, Rick and Dianne Gravitt of Rockmart, Georgia; daughter and son-in-Law, Linda and Lamar McKinney of Temple, Georgia; son-in-Law Wendell Crisp of Acworth, Georgia; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; two brothers, James Whitley of Cartersville and Bill "Porter" Whitley of Calhoun. Margaret our beloved "Maw Maw", sister and friend We Love You so very much and will miss you everyday until we meet again at Heaven's door. Rest in Peace.
