Marissa Carney

Marissa Ashley Carney, age 41, of Marietta, GA passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born on July 14th 1982 to Nancy and John Carney. Marissa graduated from Goizueta Business School at Emory University with a degree in Marketing and Communications. She was employed by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Marissa loved her spending her time with family and friends, her dogs Henry and Lewis, listening to country music, running, advocating for cancer research and patients, and most importantly being with her husband Nicholas and daughter Bella. Marissa is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Carney. She is survived by her father John, half-brother Brent (Wendy), husband Nicholas, and daughter Bella Loren. Marissa was a beautiful soul who will be missed endlessly by her family and friends.

A ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at HM Patterson located at 1157 Old Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30068. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm. Service from 12pm-1pm. A motorcade will depart at 1pm to Arlington Memorial Park located at 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A service at Arlington will take place from 2-3pm. A catered service will follow the ceremony.
