Dearest Linda and family,

Glenn and I extend our sincere condolences. You will undoubtedly miss your Mom's earthly presence but its not "good-bye" but "till we meet again". Heaven is rejoicing her entry and if I know your Mom it would have been an elegant entrance, she was that classy. A memory I have of your Mom was from many years ago when we were budding Christians. She gave us a book called Piercing the Darkness, by Frand Peretti which scared me but also encouraged us. It still holds a spot in our bookcase. We will continue to hold you up in prayer.

Love,
Your brother and sister-in-law
Glenn and Carol

My father, Jacques Thouin, and his two brothers Armand and Paul, now deceased, would have been very upset with your sad news. He grew up with Marlene in Montreal and always spoke very highly of her. I know he missed your family as the years went by but always reminded us who she was and his appreciation sharing their youth. My condolences to all of your family.

To All
My Mom was a sweet and caring women but especially a great Mom.
She raised us to always do the right thing.......that didn't always happen but we sure did try.
It could not of been easy being the wife of Boom Boom Geoffrion but she carried herself with dignity and class.
I will miss you everyday Mom.
I love You
Danny

Dear Linda I have just heard of the passing of your mom. What a kind amazing lady she was. As a hockey wife I recall clearly her being so kind to me when most coaches wives would not cross that line. Your father had called my former husband in to lecture him and when I met your mom she asked me if I was worried about the meeting. She just reassured me that it was all good and not to worry. What coaches wife does that. Anyway at the end we had a great laugh she smiled as he'd scored a hat trick. She was always there for me and I am forever grateful for her kindness. The exciting thing is her presence with the Lord and one day we will all meet again. Please pass along my sincere condolences to your siblings. In His Love, Sylvia Vail.
