Martha J Peoples

Born on February 2, 1924, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of the late James Virgil Stone and Gladys Sylvia Stone. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and began her professional career in the Business Office at L.S. Ayres. While she enjoyed her work, the role she cherished most was that of homemaker, where she devoted her life to caring for and supporting her family.

Jeanne embraced life with enthusiasm and grace. She loved golfing, traveling, taking cruises, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love created countless treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ren Peoples; her son, John Peoples; and her parents, James Virgil Stone and Gladys Sylvia Stone.

Jeanne is lovingly remembered by her children, Lynn, Mary, Beth, Bill, and Melissa; her 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and dear friends. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will continue through the generations she so deeply cherished.

A graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, where Jeanne will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Ren, with whom she shared a lifetime of love.
