

Born in 1934, Jo Ann was the beloved daughter of John Robert "Bob" Neal and Lucille Agnes Neal. Throughout her life, she was known for her unwavering faith, loving heart, and devotion to family and friends.
Jo Ann held several occupations during her career. She worked for Empire Manufacturing, sewing uniforms with the same attention to detail that became a hallmark of her life. She also served as a dental hygienist for many years and worked for Fulton National Bank. Whatever role she filled, she brought dedication, kindness, and excellence to her work.
A talented seamstress, Jo Ann enjoyed sewing and created beautiful clothing that reflected her creativity and skill. She also loved traveling and cherished opportunities to explore new places and experience God's beautiful world.
To generations of children at church, she was lovingly known as "Miss Jo Ann." For many years, she faithfully taught four-year-old Sunday School classes, finding great joy in sharing the love of Jesus with young hearts. Her faith was central to her life, and she also enjoyed singing in the church choir.
Jo Ann was a beautiful woman both inside and out. She never missed an opportunity to share her faith and love for Jesus with others. Family meant everything to her, and she demonstrated that love through her selfless generosity, encouragement, and willingness to always go the extra mile. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Masters; her son, Tim Brown; her granddaughter, Cherie Winand; and her brother, Bobby Neal.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Stone (Roger), Mary M. Stewart (Dale), Cathy A. Winand (Chip), John P. Masters (Cheryl), James L. Masters (Dale), and Margaret M. Lowe (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jason Cole Sr., Andrea Bennett (Jay), Joy Kindrat (Borys), Becca Brown (Kevin), David Stewart, Abbie Winand, and Isabel Lowe; her great-grandchildren, Jason Cole Jr., Jonathan Cole, Cole Bennett, Jo Anna Bennett, Zoe Kindrat, Ruth Kindrat, Ruby Kindrat, Bailey Brown, and Everly Brown; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at HM Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel, with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Jo Ann's life was a testimony to her faith, love, and servant's heart. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
