On September 8, 2026, at age 85, our beloved Lucy went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ\. We take comfort in knowing that her faith became sight and that she was reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Ginny.

On September 8, 2026, at age 85, our beloved Lucy went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ\. We take comfort in knowing that her faith became sight and that she was reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Ginny\.

Lucy was the loving partner of **Johnny Walker Thompson** and the mother of **Ted, Ginny (deceased), and Roxie**\. She was a cherished grandmother to **Clint Parsons, Chantel Marie Donahue, Gerald Alan Stephenson, Sarah Ashley Borders, Jack Borders III, Samantha Shoemaker, and Matthew Borders**, and a treasured great\-grandmother to **Taylor, Aiden, Sage, Emma, Izzy, Gracie, and Gwen**\.

Known lovingly as **Mama, MeMe, Maw, and Miss Lucy**, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her family and all who knew her\.

Though our hearts are broken, we do not grieve without hope\. Her earthly journey has ended, but her life continues in Heaven\.
