Mary "Evelyn" Singleton

Or beloved Evelyn, 87, entered into Heavens rest, on Thursday, July 17th 2025. She was a widow & loving mother to 3 sons, daughter-in-law & 2 grandchildren. She was married to Hoyt for 52 years when he passed. Evelyn leaves behind her sons Mike, Jeff and Andy, her daughter-in-law Gloria and her grandchildren, Alexandria & Christopher. Evelyn also leaves behind 3 sisters, Melba, Mildred & Margie, sister-in-law Hazel & lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Evelyn was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She & her family attended Locust Grove Baptist church for decades. Later she, Mike & Jeff became members at Olive Springs Baptist Church. On one outing with the special needs class, she went zip-lining! Evelyn was 77 at that time & was known as the zip-lining grandma.

Evelyn loved to go out to eat & to go shopping. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved talking to everyone, especially her sister Margie whom she spoke to every single day. Evelyn lived a long & fulfilling life of 87 years.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. A Chapel Funeral service will occur Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The Committal service will occur Monday, July 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM, on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park.

We were Blessed tremendously, to be able to call you, Our Mother and Our GrandMother.
