Mr. Michael Wayne Long, age 57, of College Park, passed away July 26, 2011. Mr. Long was currently enrolled at University of Melbourne, Australia. He also attended UGA and Georgia State University. He attended Wills High School in Marietta and graduated from Osborne High School.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine L. Long; father, John (wife, Sophie) Long; brother, John H. Long; sister, Carol (husband, Rick) Spain; two nieces, Nessa Long and Loren Adams; two grand-nieces, Addie Adams and Samantha Gilbert.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13 at 2:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
