Mickey Ray Johnson, age 65, of Marietta, GA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. Born in 1960 in Decatur, GA, Mickey graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Commerce and Business Administration. He worked for SunTrust Bank for almost 40 years in Miami and Atlanta, until his retirement in 2021.
In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing with family and friends, grilling out, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Mickey is preceded in death by his wife, Amalie and his parents, Ralph and Gaye. He is survived by his two sons, Hale and Everett; his older brother, Rommie, and his younger sister, Joni. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31st at HM Patterson & Son - Canton Hill Chapel
