Nancy would have done anything for anybody, anytime. Loved to hear her laugh. She handled her cancer with determination that it would not change her personality. She told me she knew where she would go when she passed and that gave her peace. I will miss you at the bridge table, Nancy. Death brings a heartache no one can heal. Love brings a memory no one can steal.

I loved her! She was tough and fun all at the same time. She liked Reese's pieces. She picked on the kids she liked. She made you work hard for the good grades. She couldn't spell but she could teach! She was very supportive. I always think of her with a smile.
RIP Ms. Milligan

Nancy welcomed me to NCHS with so much love and laughter! I have wonderful memories of teaching with her and of watching the way she would draw the students in with her stories. Some of my favorite times were taking my oldest daughter to her house to play in the dirt. The Lamb’s Ear and Lenten Roses she let me transplant have followed me to two homes already. I think of her often with a smile.

She was a great social studies teacher! I enjoyed her class, even though history was not my favorite subject .

She was such a funny lady and the best teacher! She made a girl who hated history, love it! She was one of the greats and will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to her family during this difficult time.
