I just posted this on Facebook and then went to call Pablo to tell him how thankful I was for the day he gave us to have the time of our lives.  Prayers to you and your family Pablo.  You were very special on this planet and I am blessed to have gotten to spend a day with this man!  
This was one of my very best days ever!!!!  3 years ago…I wanted to take noah to the Kenny Chesney concert.  I started to look for tickets, my sister said she saw some free tickets on next-door. I went to go call the guy and he was a military veteran that had lost his leg. He had three extra seats and was going alone. I met the most amazing man and we had the time of our lives. Apparently people give tickets, vacations and all kinds of things to wounded veterans. He had the seats, we met at the Marta station, we all went together. He protected us and made sure that we got to the front of the stage. By trusting people you have never met, you meet true hero’s.   He was a hero and we became friends !   
I also invited the new friend that bought my house months before (which to this day was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done). It was important that I adored the lady that ended up in my home I raised my son in. These are all people that I just met and we had the time of our lives! 
We were embraced with Dominican, Thomas Rhett and Kenny Chesney. It was my son‘s first real concert. What a blessing and a time we had!￼￼
****UPDATE: Once I wrote this post, I thought I'd check on my friend Pablo Uribe.  I called his phone, he passed away 3 weeks ago.  Never wait to tell someone hello or check on them.  🙁  His fiance answered the phone to tell me.  What a night you gave us Pablo, fly high my friend.

and also a special thanks to momma and sabrina for taking care or my dad. you both did your best and i thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. so thank you. 

i remember my grandfather’s funeral on my moms side. and the father had said to me and other that if you truly loved this man youd be just like him. my dad may physically not be here with us but spiritually he is and may his spirit live on. and another thing. i want you and others to know for who have had loved ones who have passed that goodmorning, good afternoon, goodevening is a greeting and goodbye is a send off. im not saying goodbye just yet. 

do me a favor when you walk out of here today give someone random a highfive it could change there life. or tell your parents or someone how much you love them or mean to you. anyways daddyoh. fly high. i hope you enjoyed this, i know i did. i hope your having fun resting, i hope your having fun where ever you are in the world. i will love you always. this one is for the books. this isnt goodbye ❤️.

one of his things or mannerisms was giving me highfives in the car or just to someone random on the side of the rode. because he knew it could change there mood make it better and there day better. my dad knew and took into account little things matter because they do. remember that please that little things matter. another thing was every time is was time for me to go back to my moms he would always turn the music down when we got off at the exit and he would high-five me and then a fist-bump and simply say thank you for coming i hope you had fun i love you dont give your mom trouble kid. and id say ill try knowing im stubborn. my dad is in a better place where ever he is he can see great grandma and great grandpa perez. he can have grandmas good food that he always told me about. and he can learn new skills from grandpa even though he was a quite man. he can go play football. he can have his legs he can do whatever. he told me these 2 stories that i thought where really funny. dad im gonna embarrass you but forgive me. uhm. let me make it short one was he sat in a antpile and grandma had to spraw him down with a hose. and grandpa was drink a beer and he was sitting on the porch and his beer was in a brown paper bag and my dad had just got home from school and he had asked can i try some? and grandpa nodded his head. my dad tried it and he spit it out and grandpa said youll get the hang of it one day mijo. the whole point of this is to celebrate the life my dad had but not to dwell over it. so lets celebrate his life. i was in a store the other day and i saw this quote and i wanted to share it with y’all because i thought of my dad it goes 
“to me there are 3 things we should all do everyday or our lives, number one is laugh. you should laugh every day. number two is think.  you should spend sometime in thought. number three is you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness. or joy. but think about it if you laugh, you think, and you cry thats a

hey dad tune in for your speech. i miss you bighead. 

i was discussing my speech with someone in this room on  and i mentioned that i wasnt gonna write it and have it all in my head. 

well to that person who ever you are i take it back. i have to write it for many reason. one being itll be everywhere and messy if i dont and two its for my dad so its special. 

im not gonna lie to yall. your gonna hear me mention and talk about death and the word sudden. so if you dont wanna hear it you may wanna cover your ears like a little kid. im also gonna talk about memories we had etc etc you get it. you are gonna see me look at my phone alot because i didnt memories this heads up i may stutter. 

i need yall to understand. that my dad was in a lot of pain for alot of the time. and now he is at rest. he doesnt have to deal with any drama no complaints or me be being a pain in his butt. i know i was. oh lordy i was. 

i get you may miss my dad. and i do to. and thats okay. but i dont want yall to dwell on his death. i want yall to remember my dad as a happy, funny, and good hearted guy. 

okay. anyways. lets get over the death and sudden part. death it is sudden. thats simple. as simple as its gonna get. my dad always told myself and sabrina how much he loved us because im certain he knew this day would come. and thats okay. im not gonna like. i expected it and im not surprised. and if that sound cold hearted im sorry? my intention is to not make any of this sound cold hearted. but death is sudden. its quick. my dad is at rest thats simple. hes sleeping. hes going to be asleep for a very long time.  hes relaxing. hes chilling like a villian. ya feel me? okay now we are done with the death and sudden part. 

now that, that is over with. my dad always made friends or conversations where ever he went. 

First my Sister and I, on behalf of his Mother Iris and his Fiancé Sabrina would like to thank you for celebrating the memory of Dad. The amount of the who have reached out to us in these past few days is a testimony of the lives he has personally touched.  Our dad played a variety of roles from a Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and a great friend.  We are privileged to know him as our Dad. 
 My dad was one of my sister's biggest fan at her softball games.  With gratitude my dad gifted me with the opportunity to go to college.  Our dad made other people laugh.  He was kind to others, especially strangers.  He loved his family very much.  He was strong, tall and a gentle soul.  

A bright, gentle, and kind soul.  I can’t fit all I want to say here in this box. So I will sum it up.- What a huge blessing to have Pablo as a friend. My heart hurts to know he is gone, yet I smile at all the wonderful memories. Sending much love, peace, and prayers to all his family and friends. 

Pablo was a gentle giant. He always had a way of making tough times a little easier with his positive outlook. I had the pleasure of knowing him and will always cherish the friendship that we had. He will be missed. 

He really liked my youngest son also.  Pablo always tried to look to the positive side of things. He will be missed! 

I  remember needing help moving from the Apartment to a house. Pablo said he would help, and not to worry;  he will round up enough muscle  to get me moved. And that he did! I’m not sure what I would of done without his help. He was a big man, with a even bigger heart. He loved his daughters so so much. 

Always so kind and quick to make everyone laugh, it was our pleasure to share time you Pablo! You will be greatly missed! Sending our thoughts and condolences to Sabrina and all the family. 

We loved Pablo the minute we met him! His spirit is one of such kindness. I will miss laughing with him and his silly texts. We are praying for you Sabrina, Iris, his girls, and extended family.
