Palma Ancona, age 89, of Smyrna, GA passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Born in Rockford, IL, Mrs. Ancona moved to Georgia over 50 years ago. She was retired from Eckerd Drugs and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose Paluzzi, her beloved husband John Paul Ancona, Jr., her daughter Beverly Amburn and brother James Paluzzi. Her Survivors include, 2 Daughters and 1 Son: Diane Ancona, Marietta, GA; John Ancona, III, and wife Lisa, Jacksonville, FL, Kathy Menard and husband Paul, Canton, GA.

6 Grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren: Stephanie Lee, Tammy Amburn, John Ancona, IV, Briana Walter, Regan Walter Kenneth Walter, Jessica Menard, Loren Menard, Cavin Lee, Camron Lee, Lander Hallmark. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services celebrating Mrs. Ancona's life will be held at 2:00 o'clock, Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Interment will follow on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the 2:00 o'clock service hour.
