Born and raised in the Atlanta area, he was declared the AJC amateur athlete of the decade for the 1950’s.
He was a Doctor of Chiropractic for 38 years. Entrepreneur and inventor of “The Stick” and other muscle recovery instruments.
Survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie Jesse Belcher; children, Pat Belcher, II and his wife, Elizabeth, Bart Belcher, Aandrea Belcher Crook and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Thatcher, Hayden, Chase, Hampton and Alison.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5 until 8 PM Monday October 10 at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Prior to visitation private family interment.
