Patricia L. Fischer

Born in 1947, Patricia “Patty” was a graduate of the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. Since 1984, she called Marietta home, where she cultivated deep roots in her community and church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert W. Fischer Jr., who passed away on August 2, 2012. She is survived by her loving daughters, Julie A. Knight and Lisa A. Radford; and her cherished granddaughters: Hannah Knight, Emma Knight, and Caitlyn Daniel. She is also survived by her sisters: Regina McCormick, Janet Albert, Mary Ann Wiles (William), and Susan Renne (Michael). She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Frank McCormick and Michael Albert, as well as extended family and many dear friends.

An avid gardener and enthusiastic participant in pickleball and tennis, Patricia also found joy in long walks and quiet moments outdoors. Her warmth, resilience, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her.

She was a faithful member of Transfiguration Catholic Church, where she found strength and community in her faith and friends.

The family will receive friends during a visitation at H.M. Patterson & Son–Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road NE, Marietta, Georgia, on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 1815 Blackwell Road, Marietta, Georgia.
