Patricia Louisette Wells

Pat was born to Norman Joseph Yentzen and Cora Marie Yentzen, in Port Arthur, Texas on November 15th, 1951. She was the youngest of 4 children, her siblings included Norman Yentzen, Marcia Rudd, and Mike Yentzen. Pat graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1969.

Pat was married to Robert “Bob” Dowis of Acworth, Ga on December 26th, 1975. They mutually separated in 2002. Together they share daughters Angela Marie Rice and Elizabeth Anne “Lisa” Strickland. Pat was a loving mother and housewife during this time, devoting her time to raising her children, and “making memories” with them. Some of their favorite memories are fast food picnics, thrift shopping, and going to Florida.

Pat met and later married Bob Wells of Acworth, Ga on February 2nd, 2007. They both shared a love of travel. Over the years they had together, they traveled to many places including Israel, Europe, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, and traveled around Australia and New Zealand, as well as around the tip of South America. Who they met, what they saw, and the food they ate was an enjoyable tribute to this beautiful planet created by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pat is survived by her husband Bob Wells, her daughters Angela Rice and Lisa Strickland, as well as her grandchildren Leah Waagen, Molly Waggen, Sydney Waagen, Lincoln Strickland, Gabe Strickland, Ella Strickland, and Jude Strickland.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 29th, 2023, at Georgia Memorial Park located at 2000 Cobb Parkway South in Marietta, Georgia. Visitation will be from 9 am-11 am, and the funeral service will start at 11 am.
