Although nothing came before her family, Peggy also managed to go back to school and become a paralegal. She worked hard to become one of the most respected in her field. Her professionalism and hard work allowed her to work at prestigious firms throughout her career. Peggy was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Peggy is survived by her two children and four grandchildren -Mackenzie, Brianna, Tyler, and Taylor. Mom - Thank you for everything you have done over the years. You will be missed. We will always love you.

Peggy was the most genuinely sweet person I have ever met. She made everyone feel like family. She opened her home every year for the best Thanksgiving celebrations- to friends AND family....and friends of friends and family. Complete with good food, laughs, memories and football.
Your heart felt warm in her presence. Her love for her family was strong- especially strong for her grandchildren.
I'm grateful to have met her in my lifetime and shared good times. She will always be missed and never forgotten.
Prayers to the Brackett family. I love yall.

My Aunt Peggy was not only my aunt, but one of my dearest friends. She was always supportive of Jere and me, and loved Jason, Anna ,and our grandkids. I so enjoyed talking with her about our family history, and listening to her talk about when she, my dad, and uncle's were young. My Aunt Peggy was amazing! I will miss her dearly.

Peggy was such a thoughtful lady. She always welcomed me on Thanksgiving to join her family for dinner . I am her niece's sister-in-law, but she treated me like family. Praying for this wonderful woman's family.

Mrs. Brackett was so welcoming to me and Chuck when we came to Billy & Lacey's Christmas party at their new home. She took us on a tour and made us feel like we were family. I knew she was a special lady just from this brief time with her. Her smile was engaging and so warm.

We know you will miss her. Hold onto all the beautiful memories that you've made with her so her legacy will live on and your hearts will be comforted.

Peggy and her mom holds a special place in my heart. Had her mom in the nursing home as one of my residents and had several days of sweet memories that makes my heart warm. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. Peggy will surely be missed.

We ( my children, my husband, and I) have many memories with sweet Peggy also known as grams. She always knew how to give the best compliments. When ever I felt defeated as a mother or my husband as a father or we felt no patience, she always managed to fit in to a conversation that she was just amazed at how we parent our children, how much patience we have, how much time we make for them, and well behaved they are. Even on my worst days those words always stuck with me! I am blessed to have had the pleasure to have such a phenomenal woman to look up to like Peggy to be able to learn and live those mother traits from her for over 20 years! You will be missed dearly from our whole family that you will forever be apart of! Thank you and we love you!
