Mrs. Peggy Ann Mackas, 64, of Marietta, GA passed away July 4, 2013. She was born on May 9, 1949 to the late Otis and Frances Storey. Peggy enjoyed a career as a tax examiner for IRS, but her main job was to be a wife and mother. She loved to watch movies, was kind, selfless and very thoughtful. With her patience and humor, she was loved by all who knew her. Peggy was also a very proud Democrat. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Faust and grandson, Alex Sudduth. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James C. Mackas, daughters, Stephanie Sudduth (Anthony), Theresa Mackas-Ellis (Richard) and Katherine Maher (Michael), grandchildren, Christopher Sudduth, Megan Reese, Brooke Maher and Gabbi Ann Maher and sister, Diane Carney. A graveside service will be on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00pm at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA.
