

She was born in Blue Island, Illinois on July 12, 1944. Pemle graduated from Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois and earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Kennesaw State University. She was married to Jerry D. Ennis on September 2, 1963 at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
Pemle was a gifted math teacher and tutor, published author, artist, prize-winning photographer, devoted wife and mother, and a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Marietta. From her earliest childhood, she was happiest outdoors. Pemle was an avid hiker, naturalist, and gardener and took many solo camping and backpacking trips from Canyon de Chelly to the Shenandoah Valley and many places between. She was also a co-leader of a women’s horseback trip into the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. She is survived by her husband Jerry, of Marietta, as well as daughter Amanda, son-in-law Roland, and grandson Daniel of Kent, OH. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 19 at H.M Patterson and Son Funeral Home, 1157 Old Canton Road, Marietta. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
