Mrs. Ramona Barnswell Miller was born in Paulding County Georgia on September 14th 1929.

She was the 10th child of Mr. John Earl and Mrs. Rosie (Turner) Barnswell.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband the late Mr. Norris Miller Sr.; sons,Rayfield Miller, Roosevelt Miller and Norris Miller Jr.

She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Baptist Church where she stood strong in her faith and fed her soul with the word of the Lord.

Ramona was a Loving, Devoted, God Fearing, Caring Woman. She was compassionate and understanding. She was A nurturer by nature and loved her Family. She showed that by being a caretaker to her late husband and sons while still working until well into her 89th year of life. Nothing was going to stop her!! She was many things, A caretaker, A cook, A housekeeper, A nanny. She had multiple occupations and was great at them all building great friendships along the way.

Mrs. Ramona Barnswell Miller departed this life on October 8th 2019. She leaves to cherish her memory her Beloved Youngest Son, Sylvester Miller (Sly); her five grandchildren, Ms. Sonya Miller of Kennesaw, Mr. Jeramiah (Davetta) Miller of Marietta, Mr. Clifton Miller of Marietta, Mr. Elijah (Tamika) Miller of Rialto CA, and Mr. Rodney (Tracy) Miller Sr. Of Woodstock. Also Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday Oct. 19 at 11 AM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs Ramona was a very loving and kind family member. Whenever we saw one another she always dropped a word of wisdom on me. I will surely mis dropping by to visit her. She also was a hard worker and loved her family. She will surely be missed by all. Family I will be praying God's peace be with you all.
