Ray Doby age 66, of Marietta, passed away Tuesday October 15, 2013. Mr. Doby was employed by Lockheed as an Aircraft inspector. A member of lodge 709 Lockheed Assc. of Machinist and aerospace workers. A member of the American Legion Post 160 and a member of Olive Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Doby was cremated and a Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday October 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm graveside, in Crestlawn Cemetery with Dr. Randy Cheek officiating. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Wilhoit Doby. Son, John (Kelli) Doby, daughter, Melissa (Stephen) Williams. 6 grandchildren. Brother, Larry Doby and sister, Janice Lacy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday October 18, 2013 from 4-8 pm. Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
