Ray was a true gentleman and treated everyone he met with respect and always had a smile on his face and a kind word.  I enjoyed working with him tremendously during his time at Red Line and FQP.  His courage and inspiration during trying times will not be forgotten.  May his family find peace in his passing knowing he is finally at rest.

I should be writing that I don't know Ray well, having only shared a meal and a beer with him a couple of times.  But, Ray is the kind of person who makes you a friend in ten seconds, at the same time he conveys the indomitable spirit that helped him climb mountains.  Count me another person changed and charged by his energy, his smile and his zest for life.  Turns out his body just couldn't contain his spirit.

We met Ray when he was our daughter and Son-in-laws best man in 1977. Over the years we got to know what a truly BEST MAN he was.
Since Bob left us in 2005, Ray would give me a call for no reason; Other than to say hello.  See how I was doing and wish me well.  He was a caring good man and friend.

I have very fond memories of Ray and will greatly miss the strong, proud and very caring person that he was to everyone.  He would always greet me with a smile and a meaningful "Hello!" when we were neighbors in Chestnut Ridge.   I am very thankful that I got to meet with him recently to catch up on life and share what he meant to me over the years.  He was a great man who gave so much to his family and those around him.

I am so sorry to hear of Rays passing.  He and I were college roommates and fraternity brothers at Bradley University. I was fortunate to have met Ray at Red Line Medical during those years that delivered many memories.  We always had smiles on our faces and within our voices when we met at business meetings or spoke over the phone.  We passionally shared stories of the great life we had with our families and our focus on what was right.  When Ray's name was mentioned, it motivated you to be a better person today than yesterday, that is a gift from God.  Even when Ray and I spoke in the past month, it was about me and my family not him.  He was totally at peace with his faith in God, being a wonderful husband, Father and loyal friend, what an achievement!  I miss you Ramon!

I was blesses to know Ray and Marci dating back to 1968.  We were one big family that learned all about life together.  No wonder we all turned out to be Saints.  Haha

Marci & Brooke, our sadness at Ray's passing cannot be expressed.  A flood of memories came back remembering all our good times at "The Ridge." Remembering: "Fly"...Goodbye, old friend. Today, we learned that we lost one of our best Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity brothers at Bradley University, Raymond "Fly" Cole of Tenafly, N.J. We all are so very, very sad to hear about his passing...I can still see him, flying about the library lawn with his great athleticism, playing Frisbee with us...and, of course, his speed and great jumping ability, leaping above guys to catch passes on the Lambda Chi football team we played on! We now can take comfort in those memories, and the realization that he no longer is suffering.
