Raymond Swierski

Raymond Stanley Swierski, age 81, of Marietta, Georgia entered eternal rest on October 27, 2017. Mr. Swierski was born in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Eva Swierski. Mr. Swierski attended Monticello High School in Middletown, New York then continued in his studies at Stevens Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor's Degree and the Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania where he completed his MBA. Mr. Swierski was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed baseball and watching sports of any kind, politics of the day, and a good joke from his friend Artie. He especially enjoyed his family being together. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera Swierski. Mr. Swierski is survived by his three children, Nadine Swierski Friedly, Eric Raymond (Marisa) Swierski, and Todd Raymond (Melody) Swierski; and six grandchildren, Elizabeth Mary Friedly, Katherine Marie Friedly, Haleigh Swierski (Zach) Mahaffey, Erica Grace Swierski, Evan Todd Swierski, and Anna Rose Swierski.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, November 4, 2017 between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm at H. M. Patterson Funeral & Son – Canton Hill. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill. Mr. Swierski will be entombed privately at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia at a later date.
