Reginald Lamarr Smelley

He was a veteran of the U. S Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers, City Councilman in College Park, GA and he was an active member, Sunday School Teacher and Deacon at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jeanette Smelley; son, Michael Lamarr Smelley; sister, Violet Gwendolyn Young.

Survived by his daughters, Debra Watson, Delynn Kipping; sister, Rebecca Lurlene Coleman; grandchildren, Charles Brown, Andrew Kipping, Marisa Kipping.

Funeral services will be held Sunday November 11th at 1:30 At Eastside Baptist Church, 2450 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068, with Remains placed instate at 1PM. Dr. Randy Cheek will officiate.

Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
