Sherry,  I'm not sure why but I looked up Wayne on the internet and found the memorial.  Sandi and I were so sad to hear that Wayne had passed. After all these years we still felt a special bond to you guys.  The year we shared in Hagerstown was very special to us, rememberthe newcomersclub yougot us into? We were both young couples just starting our adult lives with little kids.  Remember the nice week we spent at the beach? Big Wayne Jim would call as he entered the room.. He was kind but a bit of sass when he teased. I think of how as a couple you gave of your time to a certain children's Sunday school class. David listened when Wayne spoke. So many volunteer positions were filled by him. I agree with Keith about heavens softball team. I could go on about this bigger than life human being. For your family the joy was he was your family's bigger than life human being. God be with all of you.

The short years that we spent next door to you girls and Wayne are some of the richest of our marriage. I count Wayne as one of my best, dearest and most loyal friends. Wayne was one of my favorite classmates.  When we were kids, he was a great kid with a great sense of humor.  Always even tempered with a great personality.  Once grown, he was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, even tempered with a great personality.  I will miss him too. Sherry when you and Wayne stopped by the race track to visit in November it meant a lot to me. It means a lot more even now.
