Robert Ray Bailey

Bobby, for the last 5 years has lived at Perimeter Nursing home in Dunwoody Georgia. On April 29th, 2025, He went home to be with the Lord.

Bobby, was preceded in death by his parents Ray Bailey & Beverlee Howe & brother Michael (Mike) Bailey.

Bobby is survived by his sisters Rhonda Bailey (Leonard), Kay Bailey and nieces Laura Solarin, Brenda Bailey (Nathaniel), Amanda Ward (Andy), SIL Ratana Bailey & Nephew Michael Bailey Jr.

Bobby was a US Veteran in the United States Army, Private First Class, MP and a paratrooper which is where he received many of his injuries. Which left him a disabled veteran for the remainder of his life. He left the military with an Honorable discharge.

After his military career he achieved a black belt in Karate. He was passionate about motorcycles and collected classic cars.

Bobby loved his family, had numerous friends and loved the Lord. He was a very generous person and helped many people along his path, he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.

Bobby will be dearly missed by his Family and many friends.

Bobby will rest in Peace at Georgia Memorial Park next to his father retired Chief Petty officer Ray Bailey.

Services will be held May 7th 2025 at 1pm at Georgia Memorial Park cemetery located at,

2000 Cobb parkway s. Marietta, Ga 30060. Viewing begins at 11am services start at 1pm with graveside to follow.
