Mr. Robert E. Thompson, 91, of Marietta, GA passed away on September 10, 2014. He was a wonderful husband, father and served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Ann Thompson and is survived by his sons Robert “Rob” Thompson (Mary) and Mark C. Thompson; daughter, Paula LaFerriere (John) and 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, September 26 at H.M. Patterson Canton Hill in Marietta.
