Roxanne Lasalandra of Marietta, GA, has died following a lengthy illness. She was 62. Roxanne was married to former Boston Herald and Palm Beach Post reporter Michael Lasalandra for 27 years. She lived most of her life in West Palm Beach, FL and Woburn, MA, prior to moving to Marietta to be closer to her sister, Diane Cukrowicz, after falling ill. Roxanne was a long-time paralegal who worked in West Palm Beach and Burlington, MA, and held an Associate's Degree from Palm Beach Community College. She loved cats, collecting jewelry and antique dolls. She is survived by her husband, Michael, of Woburn and Marietta; her son, Rob Witzel, daughter-in-law, Marian Witzel, and grandson Ryan Witzel, all of Gainesville, FL; and granddaughter Kathleen Ryan of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her sister, Diane, brother-in-law Ron Cukrowicz, and two nieces. A memorial service is set for Thursday at noon at H.M. Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel in Marietta.
