Mrs. Ruth Audrey Bailey, 82, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital. Mrs. Bailey was born in Yonkers, New York. She married Harold Bailey from Saskatchewan, Canada and later moved to San Diego, California. Ruth retired from Mercy Hospital and moved to Georgia in 1991 to be closer to her grandson, Nicholas. She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Rak of Marietta; son, Robert Bailey of Pasadena, CA; grandson, Nicholas Rak, a senior at the University of Alabama; many nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada also survive. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2 pm at the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Marietta. Burial will follow on Tuesday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
