His world revolved around supporting his wife and children, and his proudest moments included watching his sons run cross-country/track races in middle school through present day, as well as in Peachtree Road races. He also found joy in caring for his beloved pets at home and following with academic and emotional vigor his favorite sports teams, especially UNC football and basketball. He loved travel, outdoor adventures, and the serene moments of walking around Lake Oconee with Erin.
